SoCalGas Only: Upgraded Emergency Equipment Replacement Policy. The Emergency Equipment Replacement (EER) policy has been upgaded...
Thursday, March 14, 2013
Spring, summer and warmer days will be here before we know it. And with the warmer temperatures, we'll likely see an increase in the volume of emergency HVAC equipment replacements driven by homeowners using their HVAC systems after long periods of non-use.
The Emergency Equipment Replacement (EER) policy has been upgraded; you no longer need to submit the request before the change out. The upgrade allows submittal of an EER notification within 10 days after installation to maintain your eligibility with Energy Upgrade California.
Be sure to review the entire Emergency Equipment Replacement Policy, recently updated for 2013, which gives an overview of the program, requirements and downloadable forms. Contact your account manager if you have any questions about the policy.
